Dental treatment in Turkey: a step-by-step guide

Many people living in Europe, the Gulf or elsewhere in Turkey choose Izmir for dental treatment. Good planning makes both the treatment and the trip go smoothly.

This guide summarises the steps to think about, from before you travel to after your treatment.

In short

  • Share photos and any X-rays before you travel.
  • Plan the length of your stay around the treatment, with spare days.
  • The final plan and cost are set after the examination; ask for it in writing.
  • Agree how you’ll stay in touch for questions and follow-up after you leave.

1. An initial assessment before you travel

Tell us what you’re hoping for on WhatsApp and share clear photos of your teeth and any recent X-rays. This gives you an idea of which treatments may be involved and roughly how many visits are needed.

2. Planning how long to stay

  • Treatments like whitening can often be planned within a short visit
  • Zirconia, E-max and veneers need several appointments because of the lab stage
  • Implants usually need two visits a few months apart
  • Leaving a few spare days for try-ins and checks is helpful

3. Getting to Izmir and where to stay

You can fly into Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Our clinic is in the Konak district, on Eşrefpaşa Caddesi; choosing accommodation with easy access to your appointments makes the stay simpler.

4. Communication in your language

We speak English, Turkish and Arabic, so you can discuss the plan, each stage and aftercare in your own language. Ask about anything that isn’t clear.

5. Follow-up after treatment

After you return home you can keep reaching us on WhatsApp with questions. Regular check-ups with a dentist in your own country also matter for long-term results.
